Enables construction of the Motor Pool and Tank Depot. Can provide upgrades for Air Support abilities.
The Air Support Center (also known as ASC) is a USF structure. In skirmishes, it is an add-on / 'upgrade' available at the
As one of 3 exclusive 'tech paths' USF players can take in each skirmish match, the ASC is focused on providing unique off-map abilities and upgrades related to them. As the name implies, these off-map abilities utilize aircraft for various support abilities, including for reconnaissance as well as airstrikes.
As with the other support center structures, once one is constructed the decision is final and cannot be reversed/changed for the rest of the match.
With an ASC present, the USF player will unlock 3 off-map abilities immediately. These can be viewed and selected on the left side of the user interface during skirmishes.
Grasshopper Recon Run: Active ability. The player must choose a location as well as direction of the ability. Can target anywhere on the map. An aircraft will then fly over the target area in a straight line through the entire map, from the selected direction. Provides direct vision as the plane flies through. 120 second cooldown. No resource cost.
P-47 Strafing Run: Active ability. The player must choose a location as well as direction of the strafe. Cannot be used in the fog of war (requires direct vision), and can never be placed inside enemy HQ territory. After a short delay, a P-47 plane will fly over and strafe the target area. Effective against infantry and can suppress them. 90 second shared cooldown with P-47 Dive Bomb. 50 Munitions cost.
P-47 Dive Bomb: Active ability. After a short delay, calls in a P-47 plane to perform a very precise dive bomb at the target location, dropping two bombs. Cannot be used in the fog of war (requires direct vision). Effective against any stationary target, especially static garrisons/structures. Unlike strafing runs, only a target location is required as the direction of the airstrike cannot be chosen. The plane will always approach from the direction of the player's HQ. 90 second shared cooldown with P-47 Strafing Run. 70 Munitions cost.
This building houses 4 available upgrades to further improve these off-map abilities. More info can be seen below in the upgrades section.
The Air Support Center is a great way to provide off-map abilities that normally are difficult for USF players to attain, as other similar abilities tend to be locked behind specific Battlegroups with high CP costs.
The Recon Run is useful as a free on-demand scouting tool. By default providing vision anywhere on the map on-demand can be lucrative for various reasons, mostly for intel reasons to react to enemy plans. However, the vision gained can also be used to enable usage of other abilities, including the Strafing Run and Dive Bomb abilities.
Strafing Runs are great for on-demand suppression and damage, and can be especially useful against set-up weapons that would normally have trouble moving out of the way. Ideally it is best to aim the strafe to fire from the direction of their retreat path, to get the most of the ability in the case of the opponent reacting with a quick Retreat.
Dive Bombs are incredibly powerful and accurate, though of course if the opponent reacts they can be easily dodged. However, on direct hits Dive Bombs are immensely powerful, capable of wiping out squads and light vehicles, while dealing incredible damage to structures and heavier vehicles. It is particularly useful against static garrisons/structures that obviously cannot move out of the way.
With Double Sortie researched, the extra bombs with Dive Bomb will allow the ability to be able to completely destroy many more vehicles and structures in one run, including the Wehrmacht

Advanced Air Reconnaissance: Upgrades the Grasshopper Recon Run into the Grasshopper High-Altitude Recon Run ability. This superior version offers greater health to the aircraft by +1000, and increases its vision range by +15. Visually, because the aircraft is now high-altitude it will no longer be visible within a player's default camera as it now flies above it, conveniently preventing it from obscuring the player camera (it can still be seen if one manipulates the camera into a more horizontal level).
Air Supply: Reduces the cost of all Air Support Center abilities by 20 Munitions.
Air Supremacy: Reduces the cooldown of all Air Support Center abilities by 30 seconds.
Double Sortie: Upgrades the P-47 Strafing Run and P-47 Dive Bomb with an additional plane during attack runs, essentially doubling the firepower of these abilities.
The voice lines for the USF pilots (heard whenever using any aircraft ability) represent the Tuskegee Airmen, also known as the Red Tails or Red Tail Angels. The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of African American military pilots and airmen who fought in World War 2.
Air Support Center P-47 Strafing Run
Delay reduced from 2 to 1
Air Supply Upgrade

American Air Support Center P-47 Strafing Run
With anti-air in a better state, we’re reintroducing some power to the ASC Strafes, giving US Forces players more punch but with the possibility of counterplay.
Damage increased from 20 to 40
Delay for the second plane decreased from 4 to 3 seconds
Munition cost decreased from 60 to 50
(Undocumented) P-47 Dive Bomb Munition cost decreased to 70.
Grasshopper Recon Run
We’ve reworked the way the ASC recon works, giving it vision at all levels and reversing the high-level and low-level planes. Before, the tradeoffs were not intuitive and often could be detrimental to the player, so we’re simplifying this so that the upgraded version is a strictly better version of the non-upgraded recon run.
Advanced Air Reconnaissance increases plane health by 1000 and increases vision radius by 15
Now provides vision from the start; no longer detects enemies in the fog of war
