Ammunition Storage

The Ammunition Storage is a USF building. In skirmishes, it is exclusively available to the Advanced Infantry Battlegroup.

This building is unlocked as a building option for the once the appropriate battlegroup perk is unlocked. When built, it provides various combat bonuses to all of the USF player's units and emplacements in a large area around it (aura effect).

These bonuses include increased rate of fire (weapon cooldown and reload bonuses) as well as faster ability recharge.

As a force multiplier the Ammunition Storage can be incredibly powerful especially since it can affect all of the player's nearby units, including emplacements. It is common to build this behind emplacements such as the to greatly increase their power while staying in a safe location.

Note that this structure explodes upon destruction, which can be greatly damaging to nearby units. As such, it is best to position this safely and not directly next to emplacements, but still within range to provide bonuses to relevant targets.
