Unarmed light transport vehicle that can reinforce infantry squads and tow heavy weapons. Can be damaged by small-arms.

The CMP 15cwt Truck is a light UKF vehicle unit. In skirmishes it is available from the . This unit is a pure utility vehicle with no weapons.

The truck is also bundled in as part of certain unit costs, including towing the, and the (Indian Artillery Battlegroup).

By default it can transport infantry, tow heavy weapons, reinforce squads, and re-crew abandoned weapons. It also benefits from Support Veterancy meaning it can gain experience when nearby friendly units gain experience. At veterancy level 1 it gains the Improved Logistics passive that reduces the reinforcement costs of squads it reinforces.

This unit is the UKF's primary transportation and forward reinforcement vehicle, which can be very helpful especially on larger maps. Note that reinforcement time is doubled for units located 45+ meters away from the HQ, and tripled for units at that distance while also in combat. It also has a unique ability to re-crew abandoned weapons on the field at a small Manpower cost. This can be quite handy as it essentially produces a new squad to take over a weapon, without relying on sacrificing an existing infantry squad's members to take it. The result is not only Manpower savings, but also prevents the hassle or risk of having weakened squads on the field that need to be reinforced.

Care must be taken when using this near the frontline, as it is fairly easy to destroy due to its low health and armour. With no armaments, it is completely dependent on other units for protection.

At a cost of Munitions and requiring a , it may be upgraded to one of two different forms: A medical truck capable of healing infantry, or be armed with an anti-aircraft (AA) weapon at the loss of utility.

The Medical Conversion is functionally identical to the base truck, but with the added benefit of being able to heal nearby infantry while stationary and out of combat. More information can be found on its wiki page:

The Polsten 20mm Anti-Air Conversion transforms the truck into an AA unit that is effective against infantry, light vehicles, and aircraft, at the cost of its previous utility. By gaining this weapon it loses all of its previous utility perks, including the ability to transport troops, tow weapons, reinforce infantry, and re-crew abandoned weapons. More info can be found on its wiki page:

This unit benefits from the Light Vehicle Training upgrade available at the .

Veterancy Abilities

  • Improved Logistics: Passive ability gained upon reaching veterancy level 1. Reduces the reinforcement cost of the squads it reinforces by -10%. While it is difficult to reach vet 1 with a non-combat unit that you will likely want to keep far away from combat, it is also very rewarding as reducing Manpower bleed is incredibly powerful.

  • Reinforcement / Auto-Reinforce Toggle: This unit can reinforce nearby squads. Can toggle auto-reinforce on or off. Note that the player can still manually reinforce squads if auto-reinforce is toggled off.

  • Tow Heavy Weapon: This unit can tow heavy weapons. Since it has transportation capacity, it can also transport non-abandoned weapons due to being able to transport the weapon crewmen.

  • Recrew Weapon: The unit deploys two soldiers to recrew an abandoned weapon, for a low Manpower cost. This is generally a more efficient way of crewing abandoned weapons as it saves the hassle and cost of sacrificing an existing infantry squad's members to take over a weapon.

  • Support Veterancy: This unit receives veterancy XP when nearby friendly units gain XP. This allows the unit to gain XP despite having no weapons at all.
