Medium tank extremely effective against infantry in cover and structures.
The Flampanzer III Medium Tank is an elite DAK medium tank. In multiplayer skirmishes it is only available as a call-in through the Armored Support Battlegroup.
Stat-wise, the Flammpanzer is nearly identical to the Panzer III in everything except its main weapon and slightly lower frontal armour. This means it has the same speed and practically the same durability as the regular Panzer III. As the name implies, its main weapon is a large flamethrower, which specializes it heavily as an anti-infantry vehicle with no real way to fight vehicles.
Compared to infantry flamethrowers, this weapon is essentially a stronger version, offering longer range and higher damage. It is very effective against infantry especially those in cover or garrisons, and is also highly damaging to structures in general. Another advantage it has over most infantry flamethrowers is that it can fire its weapon on the move.
Thanks to being a tank unit, it can use its armour to effectively take on enemy infantry, forcing the opponent to acquire anti-tank weapons to fight back. Due to using a flamethrower, it has no ability to fight against vehicles and as such should be supported when the opponent brings out their own armour.
Upon reaching veterancy level 1 it gains the active ability Flame Blind, which grants it additional utility by allowing the tank to debilitate a target enemy vehicle by slowing it and reducing its vision.

Flame Blind: Active ability gained upon reaching veterancy level 1. The targeted vehicle is fired upon by jets of flames, reducing its vision and movement speed greatly. This is essentially an anti-tank snare, useful to debilitate a vehicle to ensure its destruction from other forces. Once the ability is cast, the Flammpanzer can still move and continue using the ability within a certain range. Moving outside of this range will cancel the ability. While using this ability, it is actively firing on the target and thus ordering it to attack normally or to attack a different target will cancel this ability.
