Support vehicle that can repair, restore and salvage vehicles. Has increased repair speed.
The M31 Recovery Vehicle is a USF utility vehicle unit. In skirmishes, it is available only exclusively as a call-in from the the Armored Battlegroup.
A non-combat vehicle, this unit alongside the DAK's equivalent unit the
Perhaps the most unique ability of the recovery vehicle is restoring wrecked vehicles. This allows the M31 to perform a lengthy 'channel time', where upon completion the vehicle wreck is 'revived' again as a unit controlled by the USF player. This does include other faction vehicles that the USF normally cannot access. The vehicle is revived with very low health and with the 'Engine Damaged' state, meaning it will need to be repaired as soon as possible. The ability costs resources (Manpower and Fuel) in order to initiate, although the cost is lower than the actual cost required to build the unit normally. The revived unit still contributes to upkeep and population cap just like any other unit.
This unit has no weapons and thus is unable to defend itself. It also has very low durability. As such care should be taken when moving it closer to enemies. However, it can be rewarding to keep it close to the frontlines as it can gain experience from being near friendly units via the Support Veterancy passive. The M31 has low veterancy requirements and can gain even faster repair rates for leveling up.

Note: This unit does not gain any new abilities upon reaching veterancy level 1.

Repair: Active ability. This unit can repair damaged vehicles and emplacements. It has the highest repair rate in the game, tied with the DAK equivalent (
Battlefield Repairs: Passive ability. This unit will self-repair itself when stationary and out of combat.
Restore Wrecked Vehicle: Active ability. Allows the recovery vehicle to restore a wrecked vehicle into a functional but damaged state. Costs Manpower and Fuel to initiate, although this cost is less than the actual cost of producing the wrecked unit normally. Takes a lengthy amount of time to finish, scaling proportionally with the vehicle (ex. heavier, more expensive tanks will take longer). When the vehicle is 'revived', it is brought under control of the USF player with very low health and the 'Engine Damaged' state.
Salvage Wrecked Vehicle: Active ability. Salvages a vehicle wreck, granting resources but destroys the wreck. Grants Fuel proportional to the vehicle (ex. heavier, more expensive tanks will grant more Fuel).
Support Veterancy: Passive ability. This unit receives veterancy experience from nearby allies as those units earn experience. This allows it to still earn experience even when not directly dealing damage.
This unit can benefit from the following battlegroup perks.
Veteran Crews: Grants veterancy level 1 to all current and future vehicles.
Strength in Steel: Reduces the population cap cost and upkeep of all vehicles.
Seek and Destroy: Active battlegroup ability. Once activated, temporarily grants increased movement speed, accuracy, and rate of fire to all vehicles for the duration of the ability.
