The 2.5-tonne Utility Truck is a DAK light vehicle unit. In skirmishes this unit is not produced directly by its lonesome, and instead is bundled in with other units by towing them. This unit is deployed towing the from the , and is also deployed towing the as part of a call-in from the Italian Infantry Battlegroup. Both of the aforementioned heavy weapons cannot move on their own, and rely on towing for movement.

The 2.5-tonne truck serves the same purpose of utility trucks from other factions. It can tow weapons (including non-abandoned ones due to its transport capacity), transport troops, reinforce nearby squads, and recrew abandoned weapons.

It has no weapons of its own and has very low durability, so care must be taken when it is on the frontlines. As with other trucks, it is one of few ways to reinforce outside of the HQ, making it handy as a forward reinforcement vehicle.

Should it be able to gain experience through Support Veterancy, it can access a new passive ability upon reaching veterancy level 1 called Field Supplies. This grants it an aura that increases the speed, rate of fire, and accuracy of nearby infantry, and these bonuses linger for a long duration even after they leave range of the truck. While it is risky and difficult to keep the truck near active combat to gain XP, it can be quite rewarding as the passive it gains at vet 1 is incredibly powerful.

This unit can be converted into the via the Medical Conversion upgrade.

Veterancy Abilities

  • Field Supplies: Passive ability granted upon reaching veterancy level 1. The truck grants +20% increased movement speed, +20% rate of fire, and +20% accuracy bonuses to nearby friendly infantry. These bonuses linger for a lengthy duration of 45 seconds even after the infantry leave range of the truck's aura. While it is quite risky to keep the truck near active fights in order to gain XP, it can be rewarding as gaining this passive grants a very powerful bonus to infantry. The lengthy linger duration means the truck does not need to constantly stay nearby to provide this bonus.

  • Reinforcement / Auto-Reinforce Toggle: This unit can reinforce nearby squads. Can toggle auto-reinforce on or off. Note that the player can still manually reinforce squads if auto-reinforce is toggled off.

  • Tow Heavy Weapon: This unit can tow heavy weapons. Since it has transportation capacity, it can also transport non-abandoned weapons due to being able to transport the weapon crewmen.

  • Recrew Weapon: The unit deploys two soldiers to recrew an abandoned weapon, for a low Manpower cost. This is generally a more efficient way of crewing abandoned weapons as it saves the hassle and cost of sacrificing an existing infantry squad's members to take over a weapon.

  • Support Veterancy: This unit receives veterancy XP when nearby friendly units gain XP. This allows the unit to gain XP despite having no weapons at all.

Armory Upgrades/Abilities

  • Vehicle Capture: Passive ability. The unit gains increased movement speed, rotation rate, and is able to capture/decapture territory. Requires the Rapid Advance upgrade from the Armory.
