Light transport vehicle that can tow heavy weapon, reinforce and heal nearby infantry squads. Can be damaged by small-arms.
The 2.5-Tonne Medical Truck is a DAK light vehicle unit. In skirmishes it is available from the
As with all other utility trucks, it is capable of transporting infantry, reinforcing squads, tow heavy weapons, and re-crew abandoned weapons.
This unit serves as the primary healing source for the DAK, especially as the DAK is the only faction that lacks a healing structure that can be constructed. By default, it passively heals nearby friendly infantry when stationary and out of combat, and is capable of reinforcing nearby squads too. It also has the ability to recrew weapons, and at veterancy level 1 it gains a new passive called Field Supplies that grants combat bonuses to nearby infantry.
While it is a mobile unit, the truck is usually best kept inside the base in order to heal all units that retreat. This allows it not only maximum safety, but efficiently allows for faster healing and reinforcing. Later on, if the player is willing to deal with the extra micromanagement, it can be useful to pull it onto the field to allow for forward reinforcing/healing, as well as recrewing abandoned weapons when opportunities arise. If it can be kept on the frontline safely while gaining veterancy experience, it can be rewarding thanks to buffing your units with the Field Supplies passive.
With no weapons at all and low durability, it is vulnerable to being destroyed quite quickly if caught out. As such, care must be taken if it is used on the field, and quick reactions are a must if the opponent decides to dive into the HQ territory with a vehicle intending to destroy the medical truck.
This unit does not count as a vehicle for the purposes of Combined Arms and Vehicle Awareness.

Field Supplies: Passive ability granted upon reaching veterancy level 1. The truck grants +20% increased movement speed, +20% rate of fire, and +20% accuracy bonuses to nearby friendly infantry. These bonuses linger for a lengthy duration of 45 seconds even after the infantry leave range of the truck's aura. While it is quite risky to keep the truck near active fights in order to gain XP, it can be rewarding as gaining this passive grants a very powerful bonus to infantry. The lengthy linger duration means the truck does not need to constantly stay nearby to provide this bonus.

Medical Station: Passive ability. This unit heals nearby infantry when stationary and out of combat.
Toggle Auto-Reinforce: This unit can reinforce nearby squads. Active toggle ability. Toggles allowing auto-reinforce on or off. Note that squads can manually reinforce if auto-reinforce is turned off.
Recrew Weapon: Active ability. The unit will produce two soldiers to crew the targeted abandoned team weapon for a small Manpower cost. An efficient way of crewing weapons as it saves sacrificing some members of an existing infantry squad to do so.
Support Veterancy: Passive ability. This unit will receive veterancy experience from nearby friendly units when they earn veterancy experience. This allows the unit to gain experience despite having no weapons.
Handbrake Toggle: Toggle disabling movement on or off. When handbrake is toggled on, the unit will not move even when given move orders. Useful to prevent unintended movement especially when selecting multiple nearby units.
