The Section Command Post is the "Tier 1 (T1)" building for the UKF. It allows production of its mainline infantry unit, the (also known as Tommies), in addition to the and the units. It also has access to the research upgrade Grenade Package.

The Section Command Post serves as the beginning of the UKF tech tree advancement, which advances in a straight forward linear manner. This structure serves as the prerequisite to build the next structure in the UKF tech tree, the ("T2").
