Produces: Grenadier Squads, Heavy Machine Gun Teams, Mortar Teams, and Snipers. Enables promotion of Grenadiers.

The Infanterie Kompanie is the "Tier 1" (T1) production building for the Wehrmacht. It allows production of the bulk of their early game units, and is the first step necessary for advancing their tech tree.

The Infanterie Kompanie is a prerequisite to allowing construction of both the and the .

It also houses an upgrade that once researched, grants veterancy level 1 as well as +25% veterancy XP rate to all current and future units built from this specific structure as well as the Headquarters.

In addition, it houses special Grenadier interactions, allowing the player to convert existing Grenadier squads into a different unit for a cost.

Upgrade Options:

  • Infanterie Officer Quarters: Promotes all units from the Headquarters, Infanterie Kompanie, and certain Battlegroup units to Veterancy 1. Also increases their veterancy earn rate by 25%. Includes current and future units. See Upgrade section below for more info.

  • Transfer Orders - : Active ability at the building. Requires a . Spends Manpower to convert a nearby into a . Squad veterancy experience is lost upon transfer.

Promotes all units from the HQ and Infanterie Kompanie to Veterancy 1 and increases their veterancy earn rate by 25%. Standard and support infantry from Battlegroups are also affected. Bonuses from other officer quarters do not stack.

Infanterie Kompanie Officer Quarters – The Infanterie Kompanie Officer Quarters is having its price and research time increased to slow down the momentum of Wehrmacht players going this research, and to give Allied players more time to get tools to counter veteran Axis infantry.

  • Research time increased from 30 seconds to 45 seconds

Officer Quarters

We are making the Officer Quarters affect Battlegroup units. Previously, Wehrmacht was the only faction whose upgrades did not synergize with their Battlegroup. This should open new strategies where researching Officer Quarters is a viable path for improving Battlegroup units.  

  • Infanterie Kompanie: Affects Fallschirmpioneers, Artillery Officer, and Coastal Reserves  

  • Panzergrenadier and Luftwaffe Kompanie: Affects StuG D Assault Gun, 8-Rad Armored Car, Fallschirmjager, Wespe Self-propelled Gun, Panzer IV Command Tank, LG40 Anti-tank Gun, 88mm Anti-tank Gun and Flak 38 20mm Emplacements.  

  • Panzer Kompanie: Affects Tiger, Panther, and Obice 210mm Artillery Emplacement
