The Mechanized Kompanie is the "Tier 2 (T2)" building for the DAK. It requires the Light Support Kompanie (T1) to be built earlier as a prerequisite.
By default it allows production of the following units: 8 Rad Armored Car, Marder III Tank Destroyer, and 254 Reconnaissance Tractor.
Additional units including the StuG D Assault Gun and 18-tonne Recovery Half-track can be optionally unlocked via the Support Armor Elements research upgrade, at additional cost.
Either Fire Support Elements (T1.5) or Mechanized Kompanie (T2) are required in order to allow construction of the Panzerarmee Kommand (T3).
