Elite infantry very effective against infantry at long-range. Heals when out of combat.
The Commando LMG Section is an elite UKF infantry unit. In multiplayer skirmishes, it is only available as a call-in from the Royal Air and Sea Battlegroup. Unlike most call-ins, they can be air dropped anywhere on the map except the enemy HQ area.

The squad comes equipped with a single Vickers LMG that can be fired on the move. This weapon is responsible for much of their powerful anti-infantry power at all ranges. It has a rather particular damage curve, in that there is a noticeable rise in DPS just beyond close quarters at around 10-15 meters, meaning this LMG is most effective just outside of close quarters range.
Note that this squad also has its own variant of Lee Enfield rifles, so the anti-infantry performance of their other squad members is stronger than
The LMG variant lacks the abilities of regular Commando squads, instead only sharing Passive Healing when out of combat as well as Concealment, allowing them to cloak in cover and gaining temporary offensive bonuses when attacking to break the invisibility. They gain the active ability Suppressing Fire upon reaching veterancy level 1, granting the ability to suppress at the cost of damage output for a short duration.
This unit is best used to support other units, especially when it comes to repelling incoming attacks thanks to their superior long range performance and the squad's ability to ambush from camouflage. With the ambush bonus, they deal extreme damage, allowing them to nearly eliminate most squads within seconds especially if they are caught out of cover. Taking advantage of this is key to making the most out of the LMG Commandos, as while they are quite strong offensively, their low squad size leaves them somewhat vulnerable when taking fire, and their very expensive reinforce cost makes it costly to keep up replacements, further encouraging ambush or defensive play to reduce losses.

Suppressing Fire: Active ability gained upon reaching veterancy level 1. Upon activation, the squad gains the ability to suppress infantry with its attacks. They also gain a large +50% rate of fire, but at the cost of a -90% accuracy penalty. Duration lasts 15 seconds. Great for being able to suppress at a moment's notice, but significantly reduces their damage output for the duration. Note: Despite the tooltip stating -90% accuracy, the squad still deals hefty damage and thus this tooltip is likely incorrect.

Passive Healing: This unit passively heals at a rate of 1.6 health per second when out of combat. Great synergy with Commandos, whom typically are fighting behind enemy lines or waiting patiently in cover.
Concealment: Passive ability. The squad gains camouflage when in cover and out of combat. This means the unit is invisible to enemies unless they get fairly close. Moving out of cover for a few seconds, using abilities, or attacking will remove this invisibility. While in Concealment, the squad gains an ambush bonus after firing from camouflage, granting a massive temporary bonus of +25% damage and +40% accuracy for 5 seconds.

The British Commandos were one of the first modern special forces formed during WW2. In the present day, they are now known as Royal Marines.
The accent of this unit appears to be 'West Country' from the south-west of England.
