The Platoon Command Post is the "Tier 2 (T2)" building for the UKF. It requires the (T1) as a prerequisite.

By default this structure allows production of the , the , and the . Additional units including the and can be optionally unlocked via research upgrades, at additional cost.

The Platoon Command Post serves as the prerequisite to the next structure in the UKF tech tree, the (T3).
