Produces: Assault Grenadier Squads, Panzerjäger Squads, MG34 Machine Gun Teams, 2.5-tonne Medical Trucks, Flakvierling Half-tracks, Pak 38 Anti-tank Gun Team, and le.IG 18 Support Gun Teams.

The Light Support Kompanie is the "Tier 1 (T1)" building for the DAK. By default it allows production of the following units: Assault Grenadier Squad, MG34 Team, Panzerjäger Squad, and 2.5-Tonne Medical Truck.

Additional units including the Flakvierling Half-track, the PaK 38 Anti-Tank Gun Team, and the le.IG 18 Support Gun Team, can be optionally unlocked via the research upgrade Fire Support Elements, at additional cost. Typically, Fire Support Elements is referred to as Tier 1.5 (T1.5), since it allows advancement in the DAK tech tree once researched.

This structure by default will unlock construction of Mechanized Kompanie (T2).

Either Fire Support Elements (T1.5) or Mechanized Kompanie (T2) are required in order to allow construction of the Panzerarmee Kommand (T3).
